Recently the Jay Democratic Committee conducted a postcard mailing to certain registered voters in the Town of Jay. Upon an internal review of this mailing, it was found the mailing did not contain the required disclosure per New York State Election Law, Chapter 454 of the Laws of 2019.

We regret this error and wish to ensure the public there was no intent whatsoever purposefully obfuscate the source of the funding for this mailing.  This mailing was paid for by the Town of Jay Democratic Committee.  We have taken steps to ensure that future political communications will contain the appropriate disclosures.
