Early Voting Comes to New York
New York State has approved Early Voting, which for the first time allows voters to cast ballots before the November 5th General Election.
Early Voting in Essex County will be available Saturday, October 26th to Sunday, November 3rd, 2019.
There is only ONE early voting site in Essex County.
Early voting will take place at the Essex Co. Public Safety Building located at 702 Stowersville Rd, Lewis NY. 12950 (at Exit 32 on I-87). The building is accessible to all voters.
Early Voting hours are as follows:
Saturday, October 26: 9:00am-2:00pm
Sunday, October 27: 9:00am-2:00pm
Monday, October 28: 12:00pm-8:00pm
Tuesday, October 29: 9:00am-5:00pm
Wednesday, October 30: 12:00pm-8:00pm
Thursday, October 31: 9:00am-5:00pm
Friday, November 1: 9:00am-5:00pm
Saturday, November 2: 9:00am-2:00pm
Sunday, November 3: 9:00am-2:00pm
Voters who cast a ballot by Early Voting can not vote on Election Day. (November 5, 2019)

Voters who will be out of Town on November 5, 2019 or who are disabled, can vote by Absentee Ballot.
